 1 gram of carbohydrates contains 4 calories 

It consists of two parts

Simple

It is fast-acting (absorption) and can be obtained from several natural and

 

manufactured sources such as:

Fruits - sweets - processed drinks

 

complex

It consists of two parts

1- Medium effect (Absorption) and can be obtained from:
rice - bread - pasta

 

2- Slow-acting (Absorption) and can be obtained from:
beans - lentils - pumpkin

 

(And they may be the best option, as they keep you full for longer.


Fats

 Each 1 gram of fat contains 9 calories 

Most people think that fats are bad and should not be obtained in abundance; But in fact, this is not true, there are healthy and unhealthy fats. Healthy fats are necessary because the body needs them for vital processes. Unhealthy fats are the ones that cause health problems, and impede the necessary vital processes in the body.

 

Among the good fats are healthy for:

hair - skin - nails

Nuts - fish - olive oil - eggs
